During my recent trip to Alghero, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Il Gabbiano, and it was a delightful experience that truly catered to my taste for relaxing island getaways. Positioned just a leisurely 10-minute walk from the charming historic center, the hotel boasts an enviable location directly across from the stunning Lido di San Giovanni beach - just perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The friendly and accommodating staff made all the difference; they even allowed us an early check-in, setting a warm tone for our stay. Our air-conditioned room, complete with a private balcony overlooking the sea, was incredibly cozy, and the free Wi-Fi throughout was a bonus for capturing those gorgeous sunset moments to share with friends back home. With a fantastic terrace offering panoramic views and a charming bar to sip cocktails by, Hotel Il Gabbiano is a gem for anyone seeking a lovely blend of relaxation and local culture. Highly recommend for both solo travelers and those exploring with family or friends!
